REGISTRATION CHECKLIST
If you do not have ALL items on this checklist at registration you will be turned away and not allowed to register

- Copy of Birth Certificate (New Players Only)
- Copy of health insurance card
- Proof of Grade (Current Report Card - needs to show year, school name, player name, and grade - ALL FOOTBALL PLAYERS & CHEERLEADERS MUST HAVE THIS)
- Stampede Registration Packet (all documents signed by both player and parent) **This is the packet you fill out during registration
- Volunteer Deposit
- Registration Deposit (cash, check, card, & venmo accepted)
- Sports Physical (Must be MVFL form, HAS to be from 2026, and clearly state cleared for sports / physical activity **This is the ONLY document that will be accepted late - If it is not submitted by July 1 your player will forfeit their spot on the team.

Q: How many players can be rostered on each team?
A: 40 players at each level (football & cheer)
Q: What if I am a new player and there is no room for me on the roster? Will there be a waitlist?
A: Yes. There will be a waitlist players will be added in first come, first serve order. If we have more than 40 registered your player has the option to practice with us as long as they want. If a player in front of them quits, gets hurt, or leaves for any other reason the next person on the waitlist will have the ability to be added to the 40 person roster. All rosters are finalized before the week 4 game. At that point, no player from the waitlist can be added to the 40 man roster.
Q: When will I know if I am on the team or not?
A: We will let the player know at the completion of registration if they are on the team or not. If you are on the waitlist we will let you know what number you are so that you can make a decision.
Q: If I am on the waitlist do I need to pay?
A: Yes. We will take payments from all players. If your player ends up on the waitlist and decides to go elsewhere you will receive a 100% refund.
Q: What if I am coming from another team in the same league?
A: You are still able to register with Oakdale Stampede as long as you live in Oakdale, CA or go to school in Oakdale Unified School District. You will be considered a “new” player and if you get on the team we will have to complete transfer paperwork from the organization you are coming from. The other team must also approve your transfer. We would suggest signing up as a new player and if the player does not get in then they will be refunded.

A: The season starts on July 20th 2026 with practice. We will practice 5 days a week (Mon-Friday) until the season begins. If a team goes all the way to the Super Bowl the last game will be November 21st 2026.
AGE RUBRIC: This league is GRADE based.
JR. NOVICE - Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade
NOVICE - 3rd grade and 4th grade
JV - 5th grade and 6th grade
VARSITY - 7th grade and 8th grade
